Day by day
Arrival in Arusha
Upon arrival at Kilimanjaro International Airport, you will be warmly welcomed by your driver-guide and transferred to Gran Melia Arusha Surrounded by lush gardens and offering a peaceful retreat, the lodge is the perfect place to relax after your journey. If time allows, you may take a short walk around Arusha or simply rest and prepare for your safari adventure.

Day 1: Tarangire National Park
Depart Arusha after breakfast for Tarangire National Park, a drive of about 2.5 hours.
Enter the park and begin your private game drive. Tarangire is famous for its large elephant herds, ancient baobab trees, and diverse wildlife including lions, leopards, buffalo, and giraffes. Your luxury picnic lunch will be served inside the park, allowing you to enjoy the scenery while watching wildlife nearby.
Continue game drives into the afternoon, exploring the Tarangire River where animals gather during the dry season. In the evening, drive to your luxury lodge or tented camp near the park for dinner and an overnight stay.

Day 2: Ngorongoro Crater – Return to Arusha
After breakfast, you set off for the Ngorongoro Conservation Area, home to the spectacular Ngorongoro Crater. Descending into this vast natural amphitheater, you will find one of the highest concentrations of wildlife in Africa. The crater floor is home to grazing buffalo, playful hippos, flamingos wading in shallow waters, and the rare black rhino. Lions roam the open plains, while hyenas and jackals patrol the grasslands. After a full day of game viewing, you will drive back to Arusha, marking the end of your private safari with memories to last a lifetime.
